Working with Brava Adventures
Choosing a professional to design your custom travel adventures requires careful consideration. You want to be sure that the expertise offered meets your specific needs. I have a simple 4-step process that makes this easy: Discover, Create, Launch and Enjoy.
Discover
When you schedule a complimentary consultation with me, I’ll send you a short travel-preference questionnaire to complete before our meeting. This provides an outline of what you want most when you travel.
When we chat, in person or virtually, I’ll listen intently as you share important details such as your desired destination, number of travelers, budget and timing. I’ll walk you through my design process, fee structure, and answer any questions you may have.
Once we decide to work together, I’ll present a client agreement for you to sign and collect a planning fee. Then the adventure begins!
Create
As a professional travel consultant I strive to take the stress out of travel so you can simply enjoy the journey. I’ll reach out to my global network of experts and connections as I research the perfect experiences for your trip.
Next I’ll create one or two itineraries for you to consider. Together, you and I will refine the one you choose, understanding that there may be two or three minor tweaks to ensure it exceeds your expectations.
Launch
Your final itinerary comes complete with daily details, colorful photos, website links to meander, and the promise of an incredible adventure! At this step, you relax while I book your flights, transfers, hotels, tours, and the special experiences that will make your adventure come alive.
You can be assured that I will take care of the details, including any tickets, boarding passes, vouchers, and other documentation needed. From this point until your travel dates, I will remain in regular contact providing tips and information designed to add joy to your journey.
Enjoy
As you embark on your adventure, Brava Adventures remains with you every step of the way. Contact me at any time for travel assistance so you can relax and enjoy your vacation. When you return, I’ll reach out to schedule a conversation so you can share your experience, and perhaps some photos, with me.
BRAVA ADVENTURES PLANNING FEES
When you retain Brava Adventures to help plan your travel, you’re hiring a professional consultant to tailor your trip to your preferences and budget. You’ll enjoy the benefits of my experience and training, professional relationships and global industry connections.
My fees vary depending on the type and complexity of the vacation I’m planning, the number of people going on the trip, and the length of the trip. Generally, I don’t charge a separate fee for simple cruise bookings. I do, however, charge a fee for pre and post cruise travel greater than 4 days total.
Brava Adventures’ non-refundable fee covers additional in-depth consultations with you, research and recommendations, preparation of quotes and itineraries, reservations and booking for each part of your adventure, securing quotes for comprehensive travel insurance, administration of booking from deposit to departure, and any needed post-trip follow-up with suppliers and venues.
Your custom travel adventure begins when you accept the Brava Adventures client agreement and pay the quoted fee. During your complimentary consultation, we’ll discuss which of the fees below are appropriate for your trip.

- Fees begin at $350 for trips 8 days or fewer, begin at $500 for trips 9 – 16 days in length, begin at $1,000 for trips 17 days in length and over. Fee pricing is at the discretion of Brava Adventures.
